Holiday Inn Makati: Our Favorite Makati Hotel

For my birthday, my family treated me to a staycation at the Holiday Inn in Makati.
My boys figured, mama could go birthday shopping, while they stay and relax (and yes, maybe play their video games) at the hotel.
Mama shops while the boys play (in mama's terms: no whining kiddos)...
It was such perfect timing too, as Glorietta Malls was running a weekend sale.
My loot! Yahoo!
Holiday Inn in Makati is the newest of the Holiday Inn hotels in the country.  The hotel just opened in 2013.
True to the Holiday Inn branding, Holiday Inn Makati distinguished itself as a family hotel ~ with it's children friendly activities and promotions.  Their "Kids Stay and Eat Programme" is a real come on.
We stayed in a twin  deluxe room, which was stylish and spacious at 32sqm.  It comes equipped with all the basic conveniences.
Comfortable beds...

A 32inches cable tv (which kept my boys occupied the entire time, while mama went out to do her birthday thingy)...
A loaded mini bar ~ (my boy had his eyes on this Holiday Inn promotional teddy bear).

A safety deposit box to keep your valuables safe, when you go out.

An iron and board, robes and sleepers...

Separate shower and toilet (with bidet, yehey)...

Toiletries were also of good quality.

We paid extra for our breakfast though, since we got a room-only package.
We had  breakfast at "Flavors" their in-house restaurant.  Breakfast was good, but with find their spread quite limited.

Dessert on the other hand was great.

  1. Holiday Inn Makati is a great choice if you are up for some shopping.  The hotel's direct access to the Glorietta Mall was so convenient.
  2. Being located the Makati Central Business District (MCBD), it is also a smart choice for business travelers.
  3. Customer Service is unquestionable. An A+ from the doorman, receptionist, room attendants, concierge and staff at Flavors.
MamaSpeaks and the kiddos will be back!

  1. Nice! Will see if we can take advantage of this package when the kiddos are a bit older. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Lovely place to celebrate special occasions :)
Happy Birthday! Wishing you all the best!

    1. Thanks Sis! It was a very good family hotel and such a perfect location too.

  3. I've only experienced staying at a Holiday Inn hotel in the US. It was a good experience for us. Would be nice to stay in this branch in Makati though. It's not so far from us!

    1. I do that is cool Janice. I have never been to the US. I am sure all Holiday Inn brand hotels stay true to their customer first attitude.

  4. I find this hotel very cozy, we eat at their buffet resto every once in a while.

  5. I also have my shopping spree priviledge as my birthday gift but haven't availed it yet. 10k worth sana hehehe. Will consider Holiday Inn on our next staycation, ang saya niyan malapit lang sa Glorietta!

  6. This hotel looks so nice, last year when my husband going on board he experienced staying in U.S Holiday Inn, and he said that it really nice and they are very accommodating.

    1. Hi Melisa, true Holiday Inn in Makati is now one of our choice hotels in Makati. I love that it is affordable, new and located next to Glorietta.

  7. We were back at Holiday Inn for Christmas and were so blessed to get a room upgrade to an Executive Room. Executive Rooms are located from the 19th floor up and has direct access to the Executive Lounge. Rooms have bath tub and better window view.

  8. Havent tried Holiday Inn yet but it seems to have the same feature as our favorite hotel in Makati. The hotel's direct access to the Glorietta Mall is indeed very inviting.

  9. That looks an awesome place. I'm pretty sure me and my family are going to love it. Try to check out Makati staycation, you'll love it too. Anyway, Thanks for sharing!

  10. This article is awesome! you can also visit One Rockwell West Tower, it is one of Makati’s premier social, recreational and sport hubs.

Would love to know your thoughts!
